Cousins!!

Thursday I went to dinner with my aunt and uncle and their kids and afterwards hung out at their house. Can I just say I have the cutest cousins EVER!! LOVE them!!!

Auntie and Tyler. They loved their hats and wouldn’t take them off. LOL Every time they fell off we had to stop and put them back on. We couldn’t continue until they were back on. :) Good night!  

Tiki BBQ

Amanda and I moved into my  mom’s house since they have moved out of the country. One day while we were shopping at WalMart she saw these Tiki torches and said we should have a Tiki BBQ… So we DID! Kak and Blake came up from St. George and had some great friends come over. It was SOOOOOO much fun!! We had yummy food followed by Volleyball, Badminton and Mad Gab!!! It was such a GREAT NIGHT!

Texas Roadhouse, Rubios and movies!!

What could be more fun than Texas Roadhouse and some good movies to fill someone's month?? Not much!!! LOL

Amanda and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and Sean joined us as soon as he got off work. They have amazing ribs!!! I didn’t each much since the rolls and salad filled me up but I am definitely going to have to go there again!! :)

After dinner we went and watch Knight and Day. Now I’m not a huge Tom Cruise fan but he did alright in this movie. The best part was Cameron Diaz though! She was HILARIOUS!!! I would recommend the movie just because of her.

Okay day #2
So I have been trying new places to eat and I am really enjoying it. Amanda, Sean and I went to Rubio’s another night for dinner and they had a YUMMY steak burrito! I have been craving it since we have been! You should definitely try it out!!

After dinner this time we went and watched Grown Ups. Such a funny movie! I laughed quite a bit!! LOL

What great fun!!

STRAWBERRY DAYS!!!

This year I went to Strawberry days with Hayley!! It was sooo much fun!! Friday night we went to the RODEO!!! Oh how I LOVE Rodeos!!! How can you not? Strawberry’s and cream, HOT cowboys… need I say more? LOL

Saturday night Hayley and I went and did the carnival part of Strawberry Days. We ate some yummy food, had fun looking at the booths, and rode some fun rides!! What a great night!!

Happy Birthday Kak!!

   Happy Birthday to my amazing, beautiful, fun, crazy sister Kak!!

We had so much fun celebrating her birthday!! We went to dinner at Pizza Factory and went to watch Killers (funny funny movie :))

But anyway back to the reason I am writing this post! The things I love about Kak!

Kak is such and awesome girl.
She is so much fun to be around.
She is hilarious.
She is so creative.
She brightens the room when she enters it.

Kak loves doing crafts.
She loves her family.
She loves Blake and Foxie.
She loves her new car ;)
She always says the funniest things.
I love her face.
I loves her laugh.
I love playing with her.
I love her how outgoing she is.
I love how she brings the best out of people.
I love how she is always there for me!

I miss our late night IHOP runs.
I miss the nights of cruising.
We have so much fun together!
Nights/Days filled with running out of gas,
cheating princes,
slurpee runs,
early morning gym workouts,
Car washes (with leaking windows),
midnight dollar movies,
Lagoon!
Things we have to do when she comes home to visit!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Sore Much??

I woke up this morning SOOOOOOOO sore!!! It's a love/hate feeling. LOL I LOVE being sore... I know I worked out good when I am sore BUT at the same time it makes work difficult. I am always moving around my office and each turn I make I feel pain (heck even typing hurts my arms a little haha.) All I can say about it is... BRING IT ON!!!!  :D

On a different note... funny story about Foxie. She is such a silly dog! That dog loves towels. After I shower I always blow dry my hair in my room. When she sees a towel on my head she freaks out!!! I set my towel on my bed and she starts rolling all over it! LOL I don't know what it is about the towel but she LOVES it.  It's one of her favorite things to do in the morning haha. But it doesn't end there! She goes crazy for air blowing in her face. It's sooooooo funny! The second the blow dryer is in my hand she starts jumping and spinning and pawing at my hands. So every now and then I point it at her and let it blow on her. She goes crazy trying to bite the air. haha It makes me laugh. It's such a fun way to start the day!  Here are some pictures of here trying to bite the air.

Tomorrow =  new phone + weekend! What could be better??

What a morning!!

This morning I woke up at 4AM!! It was crazy I can't believe I have been awake for 6 hours and it's only 10AM! After about an hour of trying to get back to sleep I decided it was hopeless and went to the gym instead. I had an AWESOME work out! I am starting a new work out program! Today is day 2! I am hoping if I put it on here then it will help keep me motivated!

So here is the new plan... 45 - 60 min cardio workout in the morning 5 days a week (currently my goal is to go Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri and Sat since I have my shift at the hospital on Thursdays) and then a 30 - 45 min weights workout in the afternoon/evenings 2 times a week (Any day I have time and Thursday after my shift at the hospital.)

On top of that I am doing a new diet!! My dad is what they call borderline diabetic. He is awesome and keeps it under control with diet and exercise. So I am going to do his diet as well. Mostly what you do is count carbs. So since bread has soooo many carbs I have decided to stop eating bread completely.  I am going to miss it! LOL my family is big on French bread so it will be hard but I can do it!!

LOVE IT!!! It rained a little before I left to go to the gym and afterwards the sun was coming out and it smelled AWESOME!! Great way to start a morning!!

T.G.I.F!!!

Today my day will consist of the following 2 things....

1.) Work- today is my first day just working one job. I finished working at Noah Webster yesterday and it was sooooo hard!! I didn't think I would get as sad as I did. One of my first graders came up and gave me a hug and just started crying! He said that he would miss me and I just lost it! I sure do love that boy!! After that I couldn't stop! I am going to miss all my kids soooo much! I hope they all have a WONDERFUL summer!Anyway. I am excited to only be worrying about one job now!! and bonus... I got to sleep in until 7:30 this morning!! It was AWESOME!!!

2.) GNO!!! Yay for girl's night out!! Amanda D and I will be going to go watch... The Bounty Hunter.
I have heard mixed reviews on this movie but... I think the trailer looks funny and it's at the dollar theater so we are going!! I am hoping I like!! I love both Jen Aniston and Gerard Butler (he is fine!!!) so even in the end if the movie is lame... there is some good eye candy! ;) haha

On a side note... 1 WEEK until I will have my new phone!!
Isn't it pretty???!!!! I seriously can't wait!!  Yay for new phones!!

May already??

I can’t believe almost half of 2010 is over!! Time has just flown by!!! Life has been crazy, busy, fun, stressful, full of changes, and overall wonderful!!!

Since my last post I had a double date to a JAZZ game, Amanda has turned 20, Kak got married, went on a Road Trip,  Amanda and I moved from American Fork to Orem, and I am currently finishing up at my second job.

February was a very very fun month! It started off with a double date to a Jazz Game! It was SOOOOO much fun!!! We drove up to Salt Lake and had dinner at Cafe Rio at the Gateway mall and then went to the Jazz game vs. the Dallas Mavs!! Of course…. JAZZ WON!!! It was an awesome game!!

To celebrate Amanda’s birthday we went to IHOP for breakfast, went to Jack and Jill’s for bowling and pool, lunch at Cafe Rio, played at Nickel City, and had a CSI Marathon!!! It was a ton of fun!!!  Sadly no pictures though.

March was crazy busy. The main event of the month…. Kak and Blake got Married!!!
 
Kak looked GORGEOUS!!! and so did her wedding! I can’t believe my little sister is married! It’s still so crazy to me! CONGRATS guys! Love ya tons!!! xoxo

By April I was soooo ready for a vacation!! So Amanda D and I headed to St. Geezy where we picked up Kak and headed to Vegas!!! It was sooo much fun! We did a TON of shopping and went to the Wax Museum!!

After Vegas we spent the rest of the weekend in St. George. We did more shopping and than went to Quail Lake.

Since then life has been extremely busy. I have been working 2 jobs and have spent most of my free time moving to Orem. I am excited to be back in Orem! I am not completely moved yet but will be done soon!! Tomorrow is my last day at Noah Webster, I’m so excited to party with my kids one last time!! After that I will just be working more hours at my one job! I seriously can’t wait for this change! I have loved working at Noah and will miss the kids soooo much but It will be soooo nice to save on gas money, be able to go to the gym in the mornings before work, hopefully this will last!! haha, and to not be exhausted at the end of the day!! Yay!!

Well I am now all caught up!! Will post soon!! Promise!
