Day 25 – Your day, in great detail

So this post is kinda silly… but I will tell you about my day yesterday.
I slept in!! Which was AWESOME! Then I did some work for a few hours with Amanda. Then we had to get ready and head to Salt Lake!!!
My night consisted of Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and going to Nightmare Mansion and Castle of Chaos with Sean and Amanda!! It was lots of  fun and a GREAT way to spend Halloween!! I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Halloween filled with tons of fun!!! xoxoxo

Day 24 – Something I Crave A Lot

This is such a hard question. There isn’t really anything I crave a lot. But if I had to say something it would be my Cheddar and Sour Cream chips. They are YUMMY!!! Best chips to eat with a sandwich :)

Day 23 – A Youtube Video

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Dennis Quad!!! This video makes me SO happy!!! I just can’t get over how funny it is!! hahaha

I have a TON of nicknames… so I am just going to list the most common. :)

Mickey- Allan gave me this nickname when he was a baby cause he couldn’t say Missy.
Mickey D- Taken from Mickey.
Click- Kak came up with this name… not sure why haha
Sissy- Jayden called me this because he couldn’t say Missy. :)
Chili- My mom gave me this nickname after some TV character… I guess I acted like her. lol

Day 16 — A song that makes you cry (or nearly)

I don’t have a song that really makes me cry or nearly makes me cry.  There are sad songs that I love but they don’t make me cry… thank fully. I love songs that have meaning!! and I enjoy the message I get from it. Maybe that is why I don’t cry?

Day 15 – Your Favorite Song

This question is EXTREMELY difficult!!! I can’t just pick one favorite song! There are WAY to many good ones!! So I will just tell you my favorite band.

No matter what mood I am in I LOVE Collective Soul. I grew up listening to them and have loved them ever since!! If I am in a bad mood they make me happy. If I am in a grumpy mood they make happy. If I am happy they make me extremely happy. I just love them all around!! So here are 2 of my favorite songs by them! Enjoy :)

Day 13 – A picture of Somewhere you Have Been

So I know I promised I would post on Wednesday and I have been doing so good posting daily but this week has been crazy!! So I am going to catch up on all my posts today. :)

So on to day 13… In April Amanda, Kak and I were able to go to Vegas. We had lots of fun walking the strip, doing some shopping and going to the wax museum. Can’t wait to go again!!

Sorry but today there is no picture. The people who have had the biggest impact on my have been my friends and family. They have all impacted me greatly in one way or another. Since my laptop is pretty new I have posted all the pictures I have of my friends and family already so you will just have to look at them on my blog.

I have the greatest family and friends a girl can ask for!! I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for all of them!! I love you all dearly! Thank you for all you have done for me!! xoxoxo

Day 8 - A Photo that Makes you Angry/Sad

This photo makes me sad….

This is my sister Nessa and her ferret Pebbles. Last week we found out she has cancer so we had to put her down. It was such a sad day and such a hard thing to do but we know Pebbles is now no longer in pain. We will miss her daily! This is their last day together. She was so sweet and cuddly!
Pebbles loved to give Vanessa kisses. So sweet! 
Sorry this picture is so dark. Pebbles was crawling under a pillow and she poked her head out one side. She is so cute!

Day 7 – A Photo That Makes You Happy

I know I have said this many times before but it is true in this case as well… I have way to many pictures that fit into this category but I narrowed it down to two (only because they are currently the only ones available to me haha)
This is from last years pictures for my moms yearly Christmas present and I just love it for oh so many reasons! Many of which I am sure you can figure out! :) 
This is my little Paco!! He loves sitting on my shoulders! Whether we are in the car or sitting at home on the couch he loves to be on my shoulders and I just LOVE it! I also LOVE his face in this picture! It makes me laugh! He is such a cutie! Oh how I love my little Paco!!

Life…

So I hate to be the person who complains on her blog… but it seems like a great place to vent and boy do I need to VENT!!

My life has sure been filled with ups and downs and a lot more downs to be honest. Now don’t get me wrong… there are TONS of things I LOVE about my life! I have the worlds BEST family and the GREATEST friends! But I feel that I have reached a place in my life where I take a step forward and ten steps back! I know that really isn’t the case but feeling that way is starting to take it’s toll.

Work is stressful, money is stressful and boys are stressful!! I feel like I am carrying an elephant on my shoulder and my knees are getting weaker. There are days I wish I could stay in bed all day and just forget my worries but there is always something pulling me out of my bed (although very late some days – which is another stressor in itself.)

I feel like the last three months have just flown by with problem after another problem thrown my way! Of course there are some GREAT moments mixed in with all those problems… THANKFULLY!! I don’t think I would have been able to make it without those moments. They have helped me make it from one day to another but I just can’t seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I sure do miss it!

What is a person to do to make it through these hard times? After four months of going through what feels like never ending darkness… what should the next step be??

Day 5- Your Favorite Quote

Hello fellow blogger friends! You will have to forgive me if you read my blog since I have posted these quotes many many times before so just bare with me. There are two quotes that I love!

The first one I love because it explains how I feel perfectly! If I had to sum up how I feel about myself… this would be it!

Day 4 – Your Favorite Book

Wow this is hard!! There are SO many good books! But I have narrowed it down to my favorite author and one good book.

So to my favorite author… that would have to be Jack Weyland! I grew up reading his books and have loved them ever since. He is a LDS author and mainly writes for Youth but I still read his books :) Here are a couple of my favorites by him.





And my favorite book is… The Book of Mormon. I have really taken this book for granted for a lot of my life but recently I have made it a goal to finish it before the end of the year. I have never found a book that has the ability to answer my questions like this one. It is truly amazing how it can help guide me now matter what is going on in my life. It comforts me when I am struggling and directs me as to where I need to go in my life. If you just have faith this book can help you with anything going on that you need guidance in!! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful gift in my life!


On a side note… last night Amanda, Sean, Ness and I went up to Salt Lake to get some Sushi (well they ate sushi, I had some pork haha although I did try the sushi and yup I still don’t like it lol) and on the way home we passed the Jordan River Temple. I had never seen it before so we stopped and looked at it! It is REALLY pretty! Here are a couple pictures of it! Enjoy :)

Let the Haunting Begin!!

I just LOVE the month of October! There is so much going on. Between going to ALL the Haunted houses, work, Nessa's birthday and Halloween I am always busy. What a great time! So far I have been to the Haunted Forest and Nightmare on 13th. They were both WAY better than last year and both even scared Sean a few times! So fun!! After Nightmare on 13th we went out to eat at Cheesecake Factory. Sadly we only got pictures and Nightmare but they are fun. Here you go!! Enjoy! XOXO
 
    
  Happy Haunting!!

Funundrum!!

The circus was in town a few weeks ago and Amanda and I went. It was SOOO much fun! It was my first time to the circus and I really enjoyed it! Here are a couple pictures. As you will probably be able to tell... I really liked the elephants!! Mand's and I waiting for the show to start.

    When the elephants walked they were so cute! I love how they hold the tail of the elephant in front. LOVE IT!

Next time the circus is in town I HIGHLY recommend that you go! You will love it and have soooo much fun!!
