Sore Much??

I woke up this morning SOOOOOOOO sore!!! It's a love/hate feeling. LOL I LOVE being sore... I know I worked out good when I am sore BUT at the same time it makes work difficult. I am always moving around my office and each turn I make I feel pain (heck even typing hurts my arms a little haha.) All I can say about it is... BRING IT ON!!!!  :D

On a different note... funny story about Foxie. She is such a silly dog! That dog loves towels. After I shower I always blow dry my hair in my room. When she sees a towel on my head she freaks out!!! I set my towel on my bed and she starts rolling all over it! LOL I don't know what it is about the towel but she LOVES it.  It's one of her favorite things to do in the morning haha. But it doesn't end there! She goes crazy for air blowing in her face. It's sooooooo funny! The second the blow dryer is in my hand she starts jumping and spinning and pawing at my hands. So every now and then I point it at her and let it blow on her. She goes crazy trying to bite the air. haha It makes me laugh. It's such a fun way to start the day!  Here are some pictures of here trying to bite the air.

That dog sure keeps me busy but I sure do love her!! She is such fun!! 

Tomorrow... I get my phone!! I seriously can't wait!! This has been the longest week of my life waiting for it but at the same time I can't believe it is Thursday already.
Tomorrow =  new phone + weekend! What could be better??

This morning I woke up at 4AM!! It was crazy I can't believe I have been awake for 6 hours and it's only 10AM! After about an hour of trying to get back to sleep I decided it was hopeless and went to the gym instead. I had an AWESOME work out! I am starting a new work out program! Today is day 2! I am hoping if I put it on here then it will help keep me motivated!

So here is the new plan... 45 - 60 min cardio workout in the morning 5 days a week (currently my goal is to go Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri and Sat since I have my shift at the hospital on Thursdays) and then a 30 - 45 min weights workout in the afternoon/evenings 2 times a week (Any day I have time and Thursday after my shift at the hospital.)

On top of that I am doing a new diet!! My dad is what they call borderline diabetic. He is awesome and keeps it under control with diet and exercise. So I am going to do his diet as well. Mostly what you do is count carbs. So since bread has soooo many carbs I have decided to stop eating bread completely.  I am going to miss it! LOL my family is big on French bread so it will be hard but I can do it!!

LOVE IT!!! It rained a little before I left to go to the gym and afterwards the sun was coming out and it smelled AWESOME!! Great way to start a morning!!

T.G.I.F!!!

Today my day will consist of the following 2 things....

1.) Work- today is my first day just working one job. I finished working at Noah Webster yesterday and it was sooooo hard!! I didn't think I would get as sad as I did. One of my first graders came up and gave me a hug and just started crying! He said that he would miss me and I just lost it! I sure do love that boy!! After that I couldn't stop! I am going to miss all my kids soooo much! I hope they all have a WONDERFUL summer!Anyway. I am excited to only be worrying about one job now!! and bonus... I got to sleep in until 7:30 this morning!! It was AWESOME!!!

2.) GNO!!! Yay for girl's night out!! Amanda D and I will be going to go watch... The Bounty Hunter.
I have heard mixed reviews on this movie but... I think the trailer looks funny and it's at the dollar theater so we are going!! I am hoping I like!! I love both Jen Aniston and Gerard Butler (he is fine!!!) so even in the end if the movie is lame... there is some good eye candy! ;) haha

On a side note... 1 WEEK until I will have my new phone!!
Isn't it pretty???!!!! I seriously can't wait!!  Yay for new phones!!

May already??

I can’t believe almost half of 2010 is over!! Time has just flown by!!! Life has been crazy, busy, fun, stressful, full of changes, and overall wonderful!!!

Since my last post I had a double date to a JAZZ game, Amanda has turned 20, Kak got married, went on a Road Trip,  Amanda and I moved from American Fork to Orem, and I am currently finishing up at my second job.

February was a very very fun month! It started off with a double date to a Jazz Game! It was SOOOOO much fun!!! We drove up to Salt Lake and had dinner at Cafe Rio at the Gateway mall and then went to the Jazz game vs. the Dallas Mavs!! Of course…. JAZZ WON!!! It was an awesome game!!

To celebrate Amanda’s birthday we went to IHOP for breakfast, went to Jack and Jill’s for bowling and pool, lunch at Cafe Rio, played at Nickel City, and had a CSI Marathon!!! It was a ton of fun!!!  Sadly no pictures though.

March was crazy busy. The main event of the month…. Kak and Blake got Married!!!
 
Kak looked GORGEOUS!!! and so did her wedding! I can’t believe my little sister is married! It’s still so crazy to me! CONGRATS guys! Love ya tons!!! xoxo

By April I was soooo ready for a vacation!! So Amanda D and I headed to St. Geezy where we picked up Kak and headed to Vegas!!! It was sooo much fun! We did a TON of shopping and went to the Wax Museum!!

After Vegas we spent the rest of the weekend in St. George. We did more shopping and than went to Quail Lake.

Since then life has been extremely busy. I have been working 2 jobs and have spent most of my free time moving to Orem. I am excited to be back in Orem! I am not completely moved yet but will be done soon!! Tomorrow is my last day at Noah Webster, I’m so excited to party with my kids one last time!! After that I will just be working more hours at my one job! I seriously can’t wait for this change! I have loved working at Noah and will miss the kids soooo much but It will be soooo nice to save on gas money, be able to go to the gym in the mornings before work, hopefully this will last!! haha, and to not be exhausted at the end of the day!! Yay!!

Well I am now all caught up!! Will post soon!! Promise!

Hey all!! I know it’s been MONTHS since I have posted. I get on ALL the time and get distracted stocking all your blogs that when I am finally done… I have no time to post! LOL what can I say?? Does this mean I am actually all caught up??

Things sure have been crazy recently!! I can’t believe it’s been months since I have last posted! I am really going to try harder to post more this year! At least once a month ;)

So just a quick catch up on things in my life the past few months. October was a TON of fun! Filled with parties, Haunted houses (Amanda, Sean and I went to everyone from Provo to Salt Lake! SOOO FUN) Vanessa’s Birthday, decorating, Halloween Shopping,  pumpkin carving, and a new job. Here are a few pics of my month (sorry no pics of the haunted houses… the camera was somehow always left at home :( lol)

    

Novemeber was a month of first… Amanda and I cooked Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year for the first time. It was quite an adventure cooking the turkey! Luckily it turned out great! We also decorated our Christmas tree. It turned out so  nice! I LOVED it! :)

   

December was full of excitement! I got to spend some time with the Herrmann’s! LOVE them! Lily taught me how to make homemade pizza! (new goal: learn how to cook more new foods!) Thanks Lily!! You’re the best! Urs went to her first High School dance. It was so much fun dress shopping and helping her get ready! She looked so pretty! Kak and Blake came up for Christmas! Amanda and I had so much fun getting things looking all cute for Christmas (as you can see in the pictures above!) Vanessa was in Peru for Christmas (I missed her a ton! but and so glad she is home!) Last but not least Christmas day my mom’s dog had her puppies. Christmas didn’t even feel like Christmas. Amanda and I didn’t get to exchange gifts until late in the afternoon and were even rushed so we could help with the puppies. She had 9 puppies total. I haven’t gotten those pictures off the camera but here are 2 from my phone! I hope you all had a great holiday season!

        

January has been crazy busy. Most of my time I have been working! between the 2 jobs and volunteering at the hospital I work 9-10 hour days. I am exhausted when I get home but honestly I love it right now! It’s a wonderful feeling know you have accomplished a lot in one day! My mom’s birthday was fun. After we got off work we went to eat at a Chinese restaurant, sang, gave her her gift, and then went and watched a movie. Just what she wanted to do. I am pretty sure we got at least one picture that day (or at least I hope :s) Anyway I love you mom! I hope you had a great birthday! You deserve it!! Thank you for always being there for me!

So in a quick summary… Overall 2009 ended with some GREAT memories. I am sure excited to see what 2010 has in store for me! So far it has been a BLAST! I am so excited for this upcoming week! I know it is going to be unforgettable! and I hope you all have a GREAT week as well!

What a WEEK!!!

So this last week I started my second job at Noah Webster Academy!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE it! I am a teacher assistant in the first grade classes. Those kids sure are a ton of fun!!


Gev, the little girl I use to nanny is in one of the classes and I love getting to see her everyday! Adam the little boy I used to nanny also goes to that school and I get to see him everyday as well during recess! It’s So Fun! I only work 3 hours Monday thru Friday but I seriously love every minute! I spend the first 30 minutes in Mrs. Benjamin’s class (grading their homework and walking around the class helping them with their current assignment) and then it is off to morning recess. After that I spend 30 minutes in Mrs. Harris’ class (Gev’s class)  followed by 30 minutes in Mrs. Reyes-Cairos Class. After that I am in the lunch room for about 15 minutes helping the kids warm their food and making sure they clean up after themselves. Once most of the kids have gone out for recess I head out and spend the remaining 40 minutes of my time with them outside. I watch over the kids playing in the field and I get to play with Adam and Gev! They go in 15 minutes before I leave and those last 15 minutes are the LONGEST minutes I am there lol. The 5th and 6th graders can get pretty crazy those last 15 minutes of recess!! lol

So now my weeks are crazy busy and I LOVE it… Here is an outline of what my week looks like.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Get up at 6
Work at Networks from 7-9:15
Work at Noah Webster from (9:30-12:30)
Pick up lunch from 12:30-1
Work at Networks from 1-5 sometimes 6
Chill at home or my mom’s or with my sister for the rest of the evening or catch up on cleaning or shopping.  
Monday-sometimes I have FHE
Wednesday I have institute that I go to if I don’t have other plans
Friday- Hang out with friends and family

Tuesday and Thursday
Get up at 6
Work at Networks from 7-9:15
Work at Noah Webster from (9:30-12:30)
Pick up lunch from 12:30-1
Work at Networks from 1-3:30
Volunteer at the Hospital from 4-6:30 (this will change to only Thursday in 3 weeks)
If needed I head back to work after the hospital in case I didn’t get everything done in the morning.
Tuesday Night I have weekly dinners at my aunt Marie’s and Uncle Jason’s.
Thursday Night are my night to just relax.

Weekends are pretty chill. I get to sleep in, which I LOVE, and just have fun shopping hanging out at home, chilling with friends and family, whatever I want.

So as you can see from above my life is super busy but I am LOVING every minute of it! My life has been drama free and I have enjoyed spending my time with people who are stress free! It make my life so much better! I seriously couldn’t ask for anything more right now!!
